NEET is a young person who is 'Not in Education, Employment, or Training'. In estimating the survey results, the usual resident population is used.
In 20192024, Labour force survey (LFS) was carried out according to a survey plan the Multifunctional Master Sample for Social Domain Surveys (EMDOS 2), developed based on the results of the 2014 Population and Housing Census (PHC) and in line with the revised definition of employment.
Starting with 2025, the LFS is carried out according to the new sample of households, following the implementation of a new sampling frames - EMDOS 3, designed based on the results of the 2024 PHC.
Data for the first quarter of 2025 have been revised based on EMDOS 3.
Data from previous years will be revised following the recalculation of the number of the usual resident population based on the 2024 PHC.
Information is presented without the data on districts from the left side of the river Nistru and municipality Bender.
Values smaller than 3,0 have a large sampling error and must be used with care.
